WAnimate runs several events throughout the year. These include:

WAnimate Talks – events and workshops for professional development and networking.

WAM BAM – a 48 hour speed animation competition.

Animation Writers Group – a peer support group for people interested in creating and writing for animation concepts.

The Tom Lubin Award – to acknowledge an individual or team who has done something great in animation in WA.
