Animation Writers Group

On the second thursday of each month the ACME Animation Writer's Group meets at the AWG in Leederville from 7pm

For many of us writing and animating is a lonely business and friends and partners are not always willing to listen to you talk about it. The writer's group is an opporunity to talk about developing animation ideas, writing (and designing) animation. The group is a mixture of designers, animators, producers and writers. The group discusses all aspects of writing for animation particularly developing a concept. It is a really good way to test a concept or idea by putting it in front of supportive peers. We can look at each other's writing, share info and intelligence, watch and review animation, have guest speakers, brainstorm and collaborate.
