Terms and Conditions
WAM BAM 2010 will be a fun and rewarding event for all who take part.
By registering for WAM BAM 2010, participants agree to the following terms and conditions.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or over.
- Participants must be fully paid up WAnimate members by Friday 9th July 2010 (Note: Participants may join on the Friday, otherwise see the WAnimate website for further details on how to become a member)
- Teams may only have up to 5 participants. Teams with less than 5 participants may have additional participants assigned by the event organisers.
- Individuals may enter and will be assigned to a team by the event organisers.
- All animated films must be created on location within the allocated 48 hours (6pm Friday 9th July 2010 to 6pm Sunday 11th July 2010)
- Content used for animated films is the responsibility of the individual teams. It should be original and not infringe on any third party copyright.
- Final animated films must be presented to the event organisers by no later than 6pm Sunday 11th July 2010. Teams should make sure their films are in a playable format for screening.
- The event organisers reserve the right not to screen any content it considers offensive or defamatory.
- The judges decision is final.
- Individual teams retain all rights to content they create during WAM BAM 2010.
- WAnimate retains the right to use any content created as part of WAM BAM 2010 in the promotion of WAnimate and/or the West Australian animation industry.
WAM BAM 2010 is kindly hosted by West Coast Institute of Training. As such, WAM BAM 2010 participants will also be required to abide by the policies outlined in 'Use of Computing Facilities'
